I stopped watching the game to do... other things, and I just checked and saw the score. I'm not surprised. The Broncos were doing well against the Chiefs for the most part but then Mahomes just comes to life and does things like complete a left handed pass while he's falling down. I haven't seen this kinda thing in a long time, if ever.

He’s apparently coaching in a new spring football league starting next year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alliance_of_American_Football
They’ve also signed Spurrier and Martz (I’m honestly surprised Martz couldn’t find another NFL head coaching job, even with his OC stints not being great, he does still have a higher winning percentage as a head coach than all but two active coaches. Though of course maybe what he wants is to mail it in for 10 weeks in exchange for a disproportionate paycheck).

This feels different than the normal Chiefs. I joke about them losing in the playoffs every year but I think there's been a sea change with them. I can see them doing well in the playoffs. If I were the Pats, I'd want to avoid playing them again.
